Started in 2012
I was born and raised right here in Bemidji. One week after High School graduation I moved to Florida, where I lived for the next 23 years. The majority of my career has been in Bookkeeping and Office Management. AirCorps was the 1st job I actually applied to after moving back, how lucky was that!
F-82 Twin Mustang
Favorite memory while here?
There are far too many to list them all! They happen on a monthly, even weekly basis here.
~Watching the transformation of SSII & Lopes Hope from start to finish was such a proud moment for all of us.
~My 1st ride in a Warbird (B-25 Miss Mitchell, 2013) is something I will never forget.
~Meeting true heroes such as Colonel Ed Shames, the last living officer of the Band of Brothers, was quite an honor.
Best part of working here?
I tell random people every day that I have the best job. What we do here is so unique & rewarding as we are literally restoring history. Watching projects come in crates and then leave flying is still something that tugs at my heartstrings. You cant help but to think of all those young men whom were flying these birds all those years ago.
Finally, being able to work with such an awesome team is just a major bonus!!!
Something you’re looking forward to?
Where we will be in 5 years from now. We have grown so much this past 5, the possibilities are endless!
Watching AirCorps Library continue to spread around the world. Seeing the P-47 take flight after having her here for so long will be an emotional, yet awesome day!
