SUMMARY:
The Repair Station Support Specialist plays a critical support role in the daily operations of AirCorps Aviation’s FAA Part 145 Repair Station. This position supports department needs and production efforts by providing administrative assistance, materials control, receiving inspection, and general operational support. The role ensures timely, compliant, and efficient coordination of incoming and outgoing parts, materials, and projects to keep the Repair Station and Restoration Components department running smoothly. Reporting to the Component Manager, the Repair Station Support Specialist helps maintain high levels of organization, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced aviation environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Materials & Inventory Support
- Manage and track incoming and outgoing materials, parts, cores, and tools.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and properly manage materials with shelf-life requirements.
- Perform receiving inspection on incoming parts and materials.
- Administrative & Documentation
- Assist in coordinating jobs, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all documentation is filed properly and in a timely manner.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Purchasing & Coordination
- Assist with purchasing activities for parts, materials, and supplies.
- Support customer coordination related to parts and repair projects.
- Work closely with the Component Manager and Chief Inspector to support Repair Station operations.
- Teamwork & Productivity
- Work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision while meeting defined quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support, logistics, materials coordination, or repair station operations (aviation, aerospace, or regulated maintenance environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of documentation control, record-keeping, and compliance processes (FAA Part 145 experience is desirable).
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using maintenance or inventory management software.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and files.
- Visual acuity to inspect parts and identify defects.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Capability to lift and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work in a mixed office/shop setting.
- Passion for aviation, historic aircraft, or warbird restoration is highly desirable.
