Around the AirCorps Depot Space

TRAINING WHEELS ARE OFF, WHAT IS NEXT?

  • Continued adding of parts to AirCorps Depot
  • Delivery and setup of more racking
  • Importing the inventory data into our sales management platform for a more cohesive and better managed sales process.
  • Focus on even quicker quote and order fulfillment
  • Communication about the new parts we have found in inventory
  • Component overhauls and repairs – turnkey parts that are ready to install
  • New PMA approvals in the works
  • Completion of TF-51 and tooling inventory

We are excited to manage this inventory–not with the sole intent of depleting it–but instead to find ways to build, replenish, maintain it, and most importantly predict and respond to what the Mustang market needs.

The Move from Chino - A MUSTANG ADVENTURE

  • 111 Gaylord boxes (48″ x 48″ x 48″) totaling over 111,000 lbs.
  • 6 semi trucks
  • 640 man hours of labor to organize, package, tear down racking, and load parts in Chino, CA.
  • A special thanks to Logan Hanrahan, Mark Adams, Sam Walsh, Tony Lindseth and Neil Osborn who helped package hundreds of thousands of parts and execute the work ahead of schedule and on budget.

Continued thanks to the Ward family, Ginny, Greg, and Carl Scholl / Tony Ritzman

We owe thanks to Bret Ward, Ginny Graven, and Greg Teague for ensuring the legacy of the P-51 Mustang for future generations. The management of inventory, willingness to answer questions and turnover allowed us to make a quick transition and to be up and running ahead of time.

Carl Scholl & Tony Ritzman have always been amazing mentors to the AirCorps team. Through the Pioneer Aero acquisition Carl and Tony offered their yard, tools, and made the logistics much easier to facilitate. After a week of moving Sam Walsh, Carl Scholl, and Neil Osborn enjoy some time and warbirds together.
