SUMMARY:
This role provides responsive customer service by handling phone calls and emails, while managing small to medium-sized digitization projects, performing basic website maintenance, and assisting with marketing efforts such as blog posts and email campaigns. The position plays an important part in delivering accurate digital assets and user support that help preserve and promote historic aviation resources. Reporting to the Technical Data Manager, the role requires strong computer proficiency, attention to detail, organizational skills, flexibility for occasional travel, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and fostering positive engagement with the warbird community of users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities Customer Service
- Answering general questions and inquiries related to the AirCorps Library website with an upbeat and helpful attitude.
- Responding to phone calls and emails in a customer service capacity.
Digitization Projects
- Completing small to medium sized digitization projects of aircraft manuals, documents, engineering drawings, and microfilm using a variety of scanning equipment and software.
- Reviewing and editing digitized files for image quality, and understanding file naming conventions.
Website & Marketing Support
- Performing ongoing website maintenance tasks to the AirCorps Library site.
- Assisting the AirCorps Library Lead in creating and distributing marketing materials such as blog posts, articles, email blasts, and social media campaigns.
Teamwork, Safety & Professionalism
- Collaborating as part of a high-performance team with a positive attitude, openness to feedback, and proactive problem-solving.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by following established guidelines, using proper PPE, and identifying potential hazards.
- Accepting and applying on-the-job training to continuously advance skills and versatility.
- Demonstrating flexibility for short-term travel required to complete off-site digitizing projects.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to meet department and company needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications
- Interest and understanding of aircraft structures and maintenance is preferred, but willing to train the right employee.
- Excellent computer skills, and learns new software programs quickly.
- Must be able to follow detailed multi-step instructions, with high attention to detail.
- Typing speed: 50-70 words per minute.
- Job knowledge through suitable education or prior work experience.
- Capability to lift and pull objects weighing up to 40 pounds at a time, and work in confined areas with dirty and dusty materials.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to travel for projects that may require out of state work.
- Passion for aviation, historic aircraft, technical documentation, or digital preservation is highly desirable.
