SUMMARY:

This role works closely with the Outside Sales Manager and the manufacturing production team to meet sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate excels at both internal and external communication, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about supporting aviation projects through precise order management and relationship building. Reporting to the Outside Sales Manager and VP of Fabrication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Customer Support

  • Respond promptly to inbound customer RFQs for contract manufacturing services
  • Generate accurate quotes, process orders, and follow up on open opportunities
  • Proactively reach out to customers for repeat business, quote follow-ups, and relationship nurturing
  • Support the Outside Sales Manager with quote development and order management
  • Assist customers with questions regarding quotes, order status, and technical details

Product & Technical Knowledge

  • Develop strong knowledge of AirCorps manufacturing capabilities, capacity, and processes
  • Build expertise in aircraft parts and assemblies terminology and identification
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while prospecting for additional opportunities within the account base
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product availability, pricing, and lead times

Order Management & Operations

  • Enter and manage orders accurately in the ERP/CRM system
  • Track order status, shipments, and backorders
  • Communicate clearly with customers on costs, delivery timelines, and any changes
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure accurate information flow and project success
  • Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and customer events
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture and offer suggestions for workflow improvements and efficiencies
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support broader team workflows
QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications

  • Post Secondary certificate or Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Proven ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Google Office Products and comfort with CRM/ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • History of inside sales, customer service, or industrial sales experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally machining or sheet metal forming
  • Working knowledge of aircraft and aviation terminology/features
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or NADCAP quality system requirements
  • Strong computer/technology skills with technical aptitude to learn product applications quickly
  • Ability to travel 0% – 10% as needed
COMPENSATION:

$27.00 – $37.00
